Biography
Katy Poett ARBS
Katy is an Associate member of the Royal British Society of Sculptors and a graduate of the University of Edinburgh. She works with clay, wax, plaster, silver and bronze.
Katy has always sculpted but she made it her profession six years ago. Her travels through Europe, Africa, and now Rajasthan influence and inspire her.
Through working and experimenting with different mediums, she hopes to allow the spirit of the idea to take shape in material form, producing simple, tactile and engaging sculptures
Having mainly concentrated on making commissioned pieces from her studio in the heart of Chelsea in London, this year, 2011, Katy is going to be holding her first solo exhibition there.
